Hola and welcome! Mayra is the founder of Contigo Counseling and focuses on supporting the undocumented community. Her focus is on working with those who experience disenfranchised grief, a grief that may not be acknowledged or recognized by the larger society. Her goal is to be able to provide a space where you feel seen and supported as you navigate your healing. She uses cognitive, behavioral, and somatic approaches while maintaining awareness and presence to the way that culture and personal experiences impact you. Mayra continues to focus on building a practice that is decolonized and oriented towards reconnecting people to their ancestral roots and already existing strengths.
Yicel is passionate about supporting young adults as they move through the stress, uncertainty, and growing pains that often come with life transitions. Whether you’re navigating a new chapter, questioning your path, or feeling overwhelmed by change, Yicel offers a gentle, grounding presence. She creates a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and reconnect with your own wisdom and resilience. Her approach is strength-based and holistic, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and relationship-focused techniques. Yicel deeply honors the ways your culture, relationships, and personal history shape your experience, as she walks alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and care as you explore what healing can look like for you.
